Coyle's successor?

Morning Trotters,

Rovers fan in peace. Just read the news about Coyle's dismissal. On balance probably the best move all round considering how below average Bolton have been for some time (culminating in relegation under Coyle in the first place and now treading water in the Championship). I'm certainly not here to rub salt in the wound - Rovers have their own issues going on but I just wanted to offer my full support for your club and I hope you appoint someone decent to take you back to where Bolton belong, in the top flight with Blackburn.

God help you if the board consider Steve Kean though.

I will also put a tenner on your lot getting a manager before us!

He's younger. Only fairly recently finished playing (compared to the rest of them).

The only older manager I'd have is Harry, his teams usually play decent, winning football.

Also Clegg, give over with the United issue. So what?

'McCleish would suit us.'
WTF?

McCleish, McClaren, McCarthy, Kean, Brown, Reid, who else could I add, well a raft of other poor choices.

None of them for me thank you very much.

McLeish?

Lets not forget last season we won more games than his team did. No way!

We also will not accept anyone who isn't going to make use of our youth set up. Especailly after spending a ton of cash on it.

I said playing SKD and hoofball will cost OC his job
*****
It also made BSA the best Bolton Manager in living memory, and his Bolton teams the most consistently successful Bolton side in the top flight, arguably EVER .... But hey ...a soundbite is a soundbite I guess

Firstof: I will presume from the above that hoofball is acceptable for our team?

Note: Even though we were oft accused of hoof back in Sam's day we actually played less of it than we do now. Players like Jay Jay, Speed etc....did not hoof. Also the nod on expert was 8 years younger and a yard quicker.

Hoofball is acceptable for a team, in fact not only acceptable, paramount, considering the lack of "footballing" skill in the middle of the park!

Unfortunately, our previous manager didnt set the team up to play hoofball, but still instructed the players to play hoofball, one reason it didnt work.

SKDs age and pace have absolutely nothing to do with it
