Just a thread in response to what Hyde Road has written about our stadium, being defined outside the territory of Greater Manchester.
Old Trafford is within the territory of the Greater Manchester area.
The postcode is M16 0RA which makes it so.
Old Trafford is located within the Manchester Borough of Trafford.
I cant understand why Manchester City supporters keep believing that our stadium is not within Manchester.
Old Trafford Is Within Greater Manchester

Sspx your comments are just what most Man City fans expect from a cockney who wouldn't have any idea of how to get to the thearte of dreamers if they fell over it.

what about the fact that United's second ground is a corner kick away from where the COM, sorry Eastlands, err Etihad is now. Bank Street, Clayton.
so basically your ground is in a red area. United were there first. Is that why you called it the United stadium, to maintain the red connection with the area ?

and Hyde Rd, if you are in whalley range, somewhere near the border with Trafford, (whalley hotel, Kings Rd ??) you must be nearer to OT than the COM.

Siempere are new ground is also only a stones throw away from where MCFC was founded, so go back to school and brush up on your history lessons of Manchester.

NYoung , if you can throw a stone from Hyde road to Eastlands, you better put yourself down for the olympics.
COM is quite a walk from there but Uniteds ground was where the velodrome is now. i,e, right next to your stadium

Siempere, from what I know of Manchesters history that part of Manchester was known as Bradford, because thats where the Bradford coal mine was. There was also a factory there called Johnson and Nephew Wireworks. So once again you have failed your history lesson.
Please don't try and argue that point because I had friends of my late father who worked both down the pits and in the wireworks, in that same area. It was then calle dQueens Road and just a bit futher on it changes it's nametp Hyde Road. It was only about 10yrs ago that it was changes to Alan Touring Way
