The difference...

...between us and Huddersfield? Why are they doing so well while we struggle like hell at the bottom of the table?

Its certainly not that Simon Grayson is a better football manager than Dave Jones. Despite the the form of both teams I would have Dave Jones way ahead of Grayson.

If its not the manager what is it?

Well, its simple really isnt it. Huddersfield invested in a team that can complete at this level. They threw money at it (not stupidly) by bringing in pure quality ADDITIONS, not a new team, additions.

Is it really a coincidence that Antonio is our shining light and just so happened to be our main money signing? Huddersfield bought a number of 'Antonios' in Adam Clayton, Sean Scannell and Jermaine Beckford. I dont think Oliver Norwood and Adam Hammill were exactly bad signings either.

So lets face it, its not the manager who needs changing, its the firm grip on the purse strings. So, sorry Mr Mandaric, as much as I love you its time for you to step up and supply a squad capable of competing at this level.

Dave Jones got Cardiff to some cup finals so hes no mug, but he didnt achieve that with a transfer kitty that limited him to journeymen and our competitions rejected freebies.

Firstly, its great to see good comments from the Huddersfield fans. I dont know a great deal about the Huddersfield team other than the signings they made and where they are in the league. Its nice to get a bit of insight into whats going right and as Terrier1987 points out, the Huddersfield team is alot different to last year so my belief that that Dave Jones' brought in to many is wrong.

Im fine with been wrong about that, but what troubles me is the question of whether DJ can get this team sorted. I think he can and at the very least I hope he can. I think he has to really because there is no way MM is letting us go down lightly and he will give Jones the chop as soon as relagtion truly stares him in the face.

And it shows that he has something about him and definately has a great future as a manager, so I think he really would turn things around here should DJ leave

Solskjaer has been linked with good jobs across Europe, and only last season rejected the chance to manage Villa. I don't think he'd drop down to the Championship to manage Wednesday, he'll wait around for a "big" job.

Was just about to say that Cas! Bright young thing is OGS, think his next move will be to a big European side.

Careful what you wish for though Wednesday fans, Lee Clark might be unemployed about the same time as Jones, then you would really have cause to panic

Ha kinda agree there, managing wednesday wouldnt be a big job, it'd be a MASSIVE job, hell of a lot to be done here
