Zaha hype and his huge ego

Sounds like a to me folks.

He must have a good agent as he's now flavour of the year and what has the lad done? Let's see how he plays in the Premiership before he starts saying that only Messi and Ronaldo are better.

And what on earth is Hodson picking this lad for when he's not decided if he's comitted to the England team? Crazy, but that's Roy for you I guess.

That's my rant over for today, you are all welcome to add your own

This means ARE is easily mislead by what he reads. Maybe this is why he's always negative about FSG.

Give the lad a break, he was 20 last Saturday, and has a lot to learn, especially about Journalists.

Heres a very good and well written article.
It shows the real Zaha, not the pompus arrogant urchin some on here are depicting him as.

As is usual, the Journo's are building a non story with which to beat him with later.
He's a tricky winger and his end product is gradually improving.
I see a fair bit of him and he is capable of turning a game in an instant.
I somehow don't see him as a regular in the England set up though as England seem to stifle any flair players.
To be honest, I think he is a way off of International class at this stage of his career. I won't complain though if all this adds to his value.
I truly hope that he carries on learning and enjoying his progression at Palace and helps us get to the promised land and if we do, then he might stay a bit longer.

Note....he can be a bit petulant as well...

listen to radio 5live's monday night club. they say he's very quiet off the pitch. yes he's confident on the pitch but for gods sake that is why he's so good. if he had the confidence downing has, he'd be rubbish!

hype and huge ego? And this is coming from the Club that states every bloody season that they’re gonna Win the Premiership. But that’s Liverpool for you I guess

To be fair, I thought Scousers were against the newspapers?

‘I hope he does but last season he was dross.’ Would be interested how you worked that out? I attended all CPFC games last season, so please tell me which ones you attended for you to concluded that dross of a statement. :/

You’ve probably never met Wilfried Zaha to back up these ridiculous allegations, I have loads of times before & after matches, and I can tell you he’s one of the most calmest, easy to get on with, down to earth players I’ve seen/ met in football. And he’s usually shy, so if his confidence is starting to build then that’s kudos to Wilf, believing in his ability, as so he should! Gimme any forward that doesn’t have some kind of ego?! However, I’d have to diminishthese thoughts of him having an attitude!
I can see slur Fergie helping his son out at Posh, by trying to buy Wilf, then loaning to Jr to save his job, as Zaha & Co. tore-up London Road last Saturday, to remain back at the top of the Championship tree. But, in reality, can’t see Zaha being interested in m@nure.

But, posters like JimmyTheRed (U1682) are welcomed to see Zaha live.

By the way, I was by the bloke that told one of your Liverpool scouts, that Zaha was suspended http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2076797/Peter-Beardsley-goes-watch-suspended-Wilfried-Zaha.html

Nothing wrong with confidence, however if that quote is true, it's a little over the top to be comparing yourself to world class players who have done it all in the game, when you're only beginning to make your mark. Furthermore it is worse as it is saying that you're better than everybody else, with many of them doing a lot in the game, whilst you've done nothing.

Well, he’s played his part - what was a struggling Club these last few seasons, to get back up the right side of the table. Similar to Stevie G at Liverpool, espically when they fought back & Won the Champions League in 2005. And are you talking about FAT Ronaldo? Or w!nker Ronaldo? As him & Messi are yet to Win the World Cup – & Ronaldo messed up his chances of Winning the 2004 Euro! Therefore, they haven’t done it all - To be fair.
