Pretty straight forward. Huge ego.
wow.....lets knock a young lad for being confident!

Yeah, really straightforward.

He's more likely to end up like Franny Jeffers, Fellaini.
He's never going to be one of the best if he doesn't believe it himself
OP, let me get this straight, if Zaha had said something like:
"I haven't a clue why Woy called me up. I'm sh|t. Don't really see a future for me and this football malarky"
would you have been happy with that?

That's going to the other extreme. I would be more happy if he said he want's to play for England and thinks he's ready to step up.

I like players to have a bit of arrogance.
Do you think Suarez turns up at training to put a shift in? Or does he turn up to nutmeg and score wonder goals?
I'd rather he has the belief and then goes out there and backs it up on the pitch

I hope he does but last season he was dross. He was scouted and from what I heard most of the reports were very unfavourable. My point is how the hype seems to have propelled him in to the England set up. to make matters worse he seems to believe it too, the lad is heading for a fall.
Tbh I haven't seen much of him. He looked good against us though, raw but the talent was there.
Is it not better to try and fail, than not try at all?
I saw him live on Saturday.
He was brilliant, pace, direct, quick feet, can go left or right.
He has an attitude on him, but so what? Would you rather he was a mouse like Downing?
He will be a top player, mark my words.
I reckon he will probably end up at Man Utd.
Good rant Ag, spot on mate. I fully agree; this seems to be a press-inspired public sale for as much money as they can rip off any potential buyer. I see that righteous reckons him, and he is seldom wide of the mark, I might even go and watch him live. JimmyTheRed

I'm guessing its the agents fault. They're supposed to advise and guide a player, yet all they're interested in is how much they can wring out of a player. Leeches.
United can have Zaha - frankly I'd rather have Tom Ince back anyway.
We should have put a buy back clause on him!

Out of interest Aggers, how many times have you seen him play?

Who, Zaha or Jeffers?

I have watched him in the U-21s and he looks strong and direct, he just doesn't seem able to find much end product. Not seen him this season though so he may well have improved.

Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence/arrogance if he has the ability to back it up. And this season he is showing some ability.
I see him going to Arsenal soon. Arsene can then make him a better player and then sell him to Manchester.
