We look about as good as the Ramos era

Right now, we look about as good as the first season under Ramos. Time for people to stop the delusions I reckon. The 'project' has not started well.

Goalkeeping - £12 000 000 spent on a sub keeper

Defending - Consistently shambolic

Midfield - Turgid. Slow. No creativity.

Striking - OK

Substitutions - Absolutely laughable

Exciting free flowing football - None.

Imagine buying a season ticket to be subjected to that ***** every week. What are they, £800 now or something

Chicken pop over onto this other thread I'm commenting on.

Some bright spark is comparing Ibrahimovic to John O'Shea

TCW,

You've got the wrong end of the stick mate. My point was, if Harry declared he wanted to leave, then this would be a reason he "had to go".

It was just an addition to all the other comments i have made.

Your opinion is that, even though none of us know the reason, it was an out & out blatant reason for doing so. This doesnt make sense.

No, just that there could have been, so to say unless he wanted to go there was no good reason is flawed.

TBH I think we're caught on a little boring semantic loop

TCW,

I didnt say there wasn't a good reason. I'm just saying that no-one knows the reason. So how can you (or anyone) say it was a good reason, if you dont know what it was?

As i say, it doesnt make sense.

How can one say that it definitely isn't? I only said it MAY be.

Again, exactly my point.

Which takes me back to the sentence i said earlier:

"Definitely & maybe are 2 completely separate words, its just a coincidence they both form the title of one of my favourite albums of all time".

Indeed. You wanted maybe and went with definitely. Stubborn or no this is undeniable

We're Spurs & have only achieved a 4th placed finish twice in Premiership history - and both times under just one manager.

Chicken

Harry had to go for two reasons.

Firstly he started believing his own press and secondly, and more importantly, he started thinking he was bigger and more important than the club

I'm not sure i believe any of those reasons, neither do i think they are sufficient reasons for him to go or the official line for his sacking. They certainly are not reasons he "definitely" had to go in my book.

They would be good enough for me if I were chairman
