Yet if you beat Arsenal this weekend it will be one of your best ever teams.

^I've said this all along.

You should give the manager more time. Lloris looks every day less like a purchase AVB was consulted on (though he should probably still be playing the lad as 1 year of Brad isn't worth potentially 5 or 10 years of Lloris)

Your midfield lacking creativity is no surprise, Dembele has been injured, in any case was a new signing, your other two signings were bargain buy goalscoring CAMs, and you sold your main creative influence and one of your main goalscoring threats.

You've also got several nasty injuries.

Fans don't back the manager for long enough.

Yea, like Chelsea did the 'Di Matteo Way'

You sacked him and won the Champions League

"I think both sets of fans are as fickle as each other Saint".

Doesn't work with me I'm afraid. I never supported him appointment or rated him.

Well for starters, he was sacked in March, you're giving it some in November.

Furthermore, I didn't support the manager's sacking (though in retrospect the decision was completely vindicated) and when I saw that he had been sacked it made me feel a bit sick. Because I think that he's got potential, and I felt bad that we had supposedly cuckoo'ed him out.

Dunno, I gave a real response to your article and you're more intent on WUMing me.

BoasRaptor I think we're on the same page there. He's been playing G*llas, he wouldn't be doing that if he had a real choice.

Still, he does some weird stuff sometimes. I don't know if it's because he feels the pressure a lot or whether he's just inexperienced.

Troy Archibald-Henville is the only one I recognise.

Imagine buying a season ticket to be subjected to that ***** every week. What are they, £800 now or something

mate i had a season ticket and went to most away games as well from 1979 till 2007 and i can tel you i saw a lot worse than this team

Its called supporting your team, you should try it

TCW - I am not calling for him to be sacked. That is a mute point, because we all know he will be..

Couldn't agree more. I find us garbage to watch. Bit like Newcastle in that respect. Ade is our Demba Ba!. Even Christian Gross' side had more flair i.e Berti and Saib!

Looking at that squad we were not that bad, Ramos was just terrible and easily the worst manager we had

Back to this again I see. The people with legitimate complaints that AVB isn't good enough (and has taken us back 5 years in a few months) - dealt with by questioning their loyalty etc.

The difference is that in most of those seasons a new manager didn't come along along and p * ss away 5 years of progress in a few months.

I don't know why you expect to be better to watch than last season. Surely morale at Spurs was a bit low come the start of the season having missed out on 3rd place, CL and lost a couple of big name players? Add in injuries, new signings, a new manager, missed signings and after 11 games people decide 'that's enough time to gel, no results, hence the manager is awful and has to go or hence this player is awful and has to go'

Ramos > Gross though

Hoddle > AVB though

Bloody fickle fans today want instant success

We are all gutted its gone pear shapped in the last ten months but thats life, just get behind him and the team for now and see how the season goes.. then we can all say whether he is any good, let the jan transfer window happen and see who we get in

Ramos was terrible, he had no idea tactically how to play our team

In Europe he used to play Zokora as part of a back 3

Here comes Weare with the typical "Its called supporting your team, you should try it".

When will people learn that when things are going bad, fans will express their views on it. And it doesn't make them any less of a fan, than someone who doesn't express any opinion at all (or just agrees with the flow).

I agree with the OP, and i said to Chronic yesterday that i've not had such low expectations of watching Spurs play in donkeys. Its negative, we smply play for a draw, and its not good enough.

No no no no no no.

The people you are talking about are greedy numpties who said Redknapp wasn't good enough!

Compare this time last year to now
We have morphed into a turgid mid-table side.

Chicken, you don't feel like AVB deserves a little leeway given the hardship he's had to contend with so far? Or you're just decided
