Ramos was a fool, he took over a very good Jol side, and won something!
Aside from that he had no clue and it showed as the players lost all confidence in him
He couldn't even speak English
TBH your rut started before AVB got in, it started around February last year and you haven't really gotten your mojo back as a club yet...
compare Feb onwards to now and you have the same
We had a terrible record towards the end of last season.
Sorry but it simply a matter of fact we have gone backwards. Why is pointing this out 'disloyal'?
Look at the results, watch the football with your own eyes.
You can only suspend your disbelief by so much.
Ramos won us a trophy and beat the ch-avs in the final so dont knock him to much

Its not so much about comparing X, Y or Z, its just a matter of commenting on the here & now. And its this that isnt good enough. Ramos has gone, Harry's gone but we now have a manager that we should be able to discuss - without posters accusing others of being disloyal or not getting behind the team.
We're all Spurs fans, except we will always have different views on the manager & the playing staff.
One thing we should all be able to admit though, is that what we're witnessing is simply not good enough.

I watch us for the last 11 games of last season play this badly and the season before
Ramos has been the only manager I gave zero chance to when he joined!
Imagine buying a season ticket to be subjected to that ***** every week. What are they, £800 now or something
------
800 is towards the cheaper end.
The man has a more negative approach than George Graham
How can so many people have been taken in by the AVB myth
Yeah, I reckon that you've gone backwards by selling Modric and VDV and having King retire, and having several injuries and new signings who have failed to replicate their best form. Some tactical errors maybe, though I had a chat with a PT the other day (does Dave Cameron and some of the Spurs lot) and he was actually a bit critical of their fitness! Amazing, find it difficult to believe, but you guys shut down towards the end of games?

yetstill you named yourself after AVB?! laughable
Chicken that's such a short termist way of thinking. 'The here and now' two weeks ago Chelsea were top of the league, everyone wouldn't shut up about our form and today it's totally different. In 2 weeks it'll be totally different again most likely,
"yetstill you named yourself after AVB?! laughable".
My internet handle can be pretty much whatever I want.
So are you chronically ill? No? Liar!

But according to chicken it does not matter what part of the season you get your results or how badly we played at the end of it so why judge AVB so early when you gave harry all the time in the world .. dont make sense unless you decided from day one not to support or back him so its pointless trying to get you to change your views as they are set in stone from august
Season ticket in the South Upper in 2004 was £620
Think its around £800 now
Lets face it, we will never be happy regardless of who is in charge, Harry took us to 4th twice, Champions league, a few semi finals but when he opened his mouth it riled the fans and they wanted him out!
We can be fickle, we need to be patient and judge a manager at the end of the season
TCW -
Chicken, you don't feel like AVB deserves a little leeway given the hardship he's had to contend with so far? Or you're just decided
=================
It depends what you mean by "leeway". I just see him making ridiculous decisions game after game. Playing 2 holding midfielders at home against lesser opposition, trying to see out a home game at 2-2, taking off our top scorer at 1-0 down at home, putting on a CB for a RB, then a RB for a RW.
All managers make mistakes but this is just amateur stuff.
I love watching my team play but we're just so dull now. If we'd not gone 1-0 up on Sunday, i wouldnt have even thought in the back of my mind that we could get something from the game - and at 1-1 neither did the manager, hence his comments that he wanted to "hold it at 1-1".
I know i've been pretty vocal about it on here, but it isnt getting any better - its getting worse.

I agree with this but he there is a significant chance he wont get a season.
I think its ridiculous that some of the motormouth Spurs fans on here are asking people like Chicken to be patient with AVB when they wanted Harry Redknapp sacked because he committed the cardinal sin of talking too much to the media. He should have been hanged for that horrid crime.
AVB's hair
I also agree on that, I fear that he will be chased out of the club by the boo boys and the negative fans
He is what we need, we need a young manager who can come in and command at the team for the next 10 years! I want stability not a new manager every few years and we do the odd 4th place, I want to win things and finish higher up, get great players, have cup runs, win at Old Trafford, beat Arsenal twice, smash the Chaaaavs!
Boo boys should be patient, we need to be patient
