Most reds still have a lot of love for rafa. Me included. Will always feel he should still be manager and was our best manager since kenny's first reign. That's another story.
How would you guys feel if he went to Chelsea? I would find it hard to hate Rafa because what he has done for LFC, the fans, HJC, etc.
I'm pretty confident Rafa wouldnt do anything to get our backs up. He will go about his business managing Cheslea and if asked any questions about LFC he would only have great things to say about the club, fans and City....
Let's see if he gets the job.
Love for Rafa

zenny, the only joke is you generalising all fans due to prejudice and ignorance. Should I say that all Liverpool fans are deluded and stuck in the past because a few appear to be?

I'm a big Rafa fan and I think he is a top manager.
He was removed by Hicks and Gillet, that's right two blokes that know naff all about football.
He was removed by Inter Milan when he said "back me or sack me" when Rafa said the team needed investment- inter Milan chose not to back a manager who they brought in.
Being linked with Chelsea now, I do want to see Rafa back in football but not with Chelsea.
It's not that it's another premier league club or a reunion with Torres but the fact he is a Liverpool legend who will be pilloried from day 1 by the Chelsea fans.
In fact he is been pilloried now just for being linked with them. Rafa is a far better manager than Di Matteo, Grant and AVB.
Their fans won't give him a chance.

Bearing in mind the fact that Rafa has been out of a job for a while, I think a short term stint at Chelsea, although risky, would be a great chance for him to show what he can still do as a manager. Even if he didn't get the job long term, there would be clubs wanting him as their manager.

Rafa is now 1/8 for the Chelsea job.
Next is pep at 7/1.
I think you can say that is pretty much a done deal
