Why would you hate someone for managing Chelsea anyway? Strange article.

We can't exactly tell him he's to stay unemployed for the rest of his life, can we?

We fired him, for goodness' sake!

I count Chelsea as a plastic flag waving artificially enlarged club. These days it's basically one mans fantasy football project.

Rafa, I count to be a humble man and he has Liverpool written all the way through him. We are still benefitting from his plans with the Academy with is currently bailing out our owners negligence in the transfer market.

Rafa to Chelsea seems about as good a fit as Torres to Chelsea. Be warned Rafa don't go there, you'll lose your soul!

It is nothing to do with us. The man made himself available for our own managers job and we didnt even speak to him.

If he takes it I wish him the best (except twice a year) Ignoring his managerial abilities he is a very dignified and generous man in my opinion and deserves to succeed.

Though this quote might come back to haunt him

'We do not need to give away flags for our fans to wave - our supporters are always there with their hearts and that is all we need. Its the passion of the fans that helps to win matches- not flags.'

Dr, where in the article did i say he would be a C%$T if he went to Chelsea.

I would find it hard to want Cheslea to do well but at the same time would want Rafa to be successful.

He's quite an intense little chappie is our former manager, totally committed to the cause when in harness. I can imagine that it hurt him, quite deeply, when he was not even on the radar for the managers job. Myview is that I totally supported, and continue to support FSGs decision to appoint Brendan. If Rafa does go to Chelsea, then good luck to the man, he is a top-class manager who would undoubtedly bring success to the club. And, of he did go there, the traitor would be out within the day. jimmyTheRed

I agree with Jimmy except for one thing. If anyone can get the best out of Torres, Rafa can.

Just noticed RDM has been sacked, what a joke Chelsea are, no loyalty to a manager who worked wonders last season. If Rafa goes there he needs his head testing.

Before everyone gets too carried away, has it actually mentioned anywhere that Rafa's actually up for the job? Personally, I don't think he'd want it, constant interference from above, players being bought that aren't the managers choice, zero job security, plastic glory hunting fans..... Rafa doesn't seem much of a fit for Chelsea does he? Saying that, he has been out of work for a while....

Rafa is too good a man to get the Chelsea job and then be brushed aside as soon as pep becomes available.

I'd quite Rafa to get the Chelsea job just so the London bias media would see what a great manager he is!

They've sacked another manager?

Not doubting your word for a nano-second Aggers, but I just had to check on the BBC website. Unbelievable. If Rafa goes for it, I hope he gets it, good luck to the man. jimmyTheRed

zenny, the only joke is you generalising all fans due to prejudice and ignorance. Should I say that all Liverpool fans are deluded and stuck in the past because a few appear to be?

I'm just glad chelsea got their 2 players sent off against us when rdm was in charge, imagine the rant.......
