Taxi For Jones

The only bright spot about tonight is that the departure of our manager is now absolutely inevitable.

With goodwill & a vastly superior budget to the likes of Irvine, Laws & Sturrock he has managed in 6 months to make a complete mess of the foundation that Megson built.

Whoever comes in has a core of capable players + the January transfer window to try and save us.

My choice of next boss would be Mark Robins or Alex McLeish

. . .Can't disagree with any of the above. The interview Dave Jones gave to Radio Sheffield was cringeworthy, he's lost the plot.

I'd like to know what's going through MM's head. Is he waiting till we go bottom? Please don't tell me we've got second lowest playing budget in this league cos I don't believe it! I've got to agree with the comments about DJ being given it on a plate and fouling it up. Confidence is shot, we don't have time for a re-build. Come on Dave, put your hands up and walk, we'll all think more of you if you do.

I thought he was going to cry.he seems to want to pass blame onto the players. I agree that there is a responsibility duty that those players have to step up to but the reason we are so bad isn't because of some bad passing, poor shots etc. we are so bad due to lack of organisation, team work, tactics, togetherness and knowing where to be in all situations. There's no confidence and no desire. I'm sorry jones, but everything that is wrong with that team is down to you mate and your inability to 1) pick a team 2) player that team effectively and 3) get anywhere near the best out of any of them.

You might say I'm wrong, you might say he's too risky but for me it's jones out! Di canio in!

We need to take a risk instead of these 'safe' options which inevitably fail anyway.

I thought he'd lost the plot a couple of weeks ago when he was clearly stumbling from Italian restaurant to Italian restaurant trying to bump into Mandaric. He looked a beaten man then.

And he looked like he was going to cry.

Lost the plot and he has to go. Something has to change. Would love to see MM go after Di Matteo but highly unlikely.

If its Paul Ince, I'll cry

What...a...fu ckin...DISGRACE!!!!

DJ, if your reading this (which you probably wont be), if you had any ounce of love & respect for this wonderful club and its wonderful fans you would hold your hands up and say "Ive failed and i'll leave"!! But no doubt you'll continue with your deludedness and keep faith with a 32 year old crock who has only played 2 games in 2-3 years and a 30 year old "big i am" you dosnt give a f u ck about us when there are hungrier players like Madine who wasnt even on the bench (not sure if he is injured).

Sorry mate but you have cocked up more than what Irvine did. GO NOW!!!

Its funny the best manager we have had for 20+ years since Big Ron only lasted a year, should have kept him. Although doubtful but I hope Megson will return soon and finish what he had started!!

I remember saying a few weeks ago that I thought Dave Jones was a better manager than Simon Grayson
