I think it would have been difficult to tempt Ba last year, as despite him not scoring as many in the second half of the season, he was still very much a provider. he had Cisse there too, and the partnership they were forming was great. On top of that, they did extremely well in the league. Who knows, second season syndrome, drop down a few places someone will activate the clause. I'm expecting Arsenal and Liverpool to thrash it out for him.

No he wasn't and no they weren't! He did the donkey work on the left and got the hump hence why Cisse is on the right now. He'll not be wanted by a top club so we should be alright keeping him. We'll climb the table soon enough anyway. League is crap.

I think the top clubs are a little weary about his knees (i think its his knees that have the problem) - It's why stoke or sunderland didn't sign him but West Ham did. I would prefer United stay away, as usually, when we have players like that, they get injured often.

No, not surprised at all. He's a very limited footballer

£7.5 million for a footballer who scores in very sporadic periods and is quite average or £12 million for the focal point of the very good Dortmund team (weakening them in the process).
