Unfortunately i'm not very well educated and my computer ability is limited to turning it on and clicking the fire of the world symbol or the big e.
Therefore can someone tell me if a website should tell its visitors what they do with the information they collect?
What Data protection laws a website must follow, i've heard they must enroll in a government scheme?
Also, can they go to prison and/or get fined if the website owners alter visitors data without notice or acknowledgement?
What about sympathising and maybe even promoting racist views?
Can a website be closed down, i've heard you can contact a new government agency to report such bad sites.
Another concern i've had is a website writing bad terms and conditions. I've heard you can go to court for publising 'rubbish' as a 'supposed' legally biding contract?
What about contacting the domain registry, what can they do?
Also, if a website sells advertising shouldn't they be a registered business?
and if they are/should be a regsitered business shouldn't they then by law have to display their business details on the website easily accessible to its visitors?
There's just so much to a website these days and lots of people think they can just set one up and do as they like with it, on it and to its visitors.
I wonder what will happen to those irresponsible ones?

A poster who had a personal issue with the OP started threatening to get the police involved.
His account was deleted.
He appeared here.

Toor, we have terminated accounts for disrupting our pint. As a unpleasant pint would cause is to resent the site, which isn't the interest of us our the site.

I would imagine from our own dealings and phonecalls with Southern who seems a decent chap. He would have little desire to hosts racist content on his site and once such content was drawn to his attention would be removed within a day or two.
