Hope Things Work Out For You!

Whilst it seems the common concept for the media and other supporters, most notably my own, to stick the boot in I have to say I sympathise with the situation you find yourselves.

What the Venkys have done to Blackburn Rovers is appalling and it is not only affecting the football club, but the local community too.

I just done an article on how Watford's academy, which was one of the best in Europe, has been destroyed by owners who are exploiting the club for their own benefit and I think with Venkys that Blackburn Rovers are very much in the same boat.

I think what needs to happen is that the supporters mobilise and start a campaign group that has the objective of removing Venkys.

Despite the number of songs my own support have, the most common chant in the 1990s was "Sack the Board!" so I can understand what you are going through.

What needs to happen now is a concerted campaign from Blackburn supporters with the objective of removing Venkys from the board. That sounds something that is very hard to do, but it could even start with a social media campaign and a popular blog.

As the title states, I hope things work out for you.

Thanks mate, it is a bit of a novelty to get a fan such as yourself on here e.g. someone who understands the situation and does not make unfounded dumb comments

Hopefully our club will get some of its respectability back at some point, so many of us feel so unattatched to the club we all love, and I think for me that is the sadest thing. Sure we will still get dumb Arsenal fans on here telling us Kean is the messiah and we all tried to murder him and his family, but what can you do.

Thanks again, think not much will improve with our current owners, but it is nice to hear a fan of another club come out in support of another teams supporters, seems such a rarity now.

Good luck on your European adventure, you'll be the team from Britain that I hope goes the furthest. Your team has alreadt done itself proud this year in what has been a hard year for scottish football

Henrik, cheers mate for the well wishes, we'll need 'em and as several others have said, we are caring less and less every silly day this bunch of clowns perpetuate their Rovers charade.

My first Rovers game was in 1958 and like Star and Walkden I have died a thousands deaths at Ewood but we always knew we'd bounce back, Rovers fans have always had to be optimistic but I am not so sure anymore. In modern footy the financial situation magnifies the effect of just a couple of bad years that a small town club would have survived years ago.

Now it is clearly a retail business and two years with declining sales and customer count is something few single-site small market retailers can survive.

Drinkin now...

But we do appreciate the well-wishes of genuine football fans, thanks!

Duggy i cant go back anywhere near as far as you can,,but i can remember life before Jack,but it just isnt that life anymore,,we cant go back to that as for Blackburn Rovers that world dont exist anymore,the only way we can get our Rovers back now is via liquadation and even then there will be strings atytached,,regarding ground,academy Brockhall facilliteis,,i often wondered when the situation started to go wrong in the early 2000's,jack did start something that without his clout was totaly unsustainable,,but it is a disgrace that these Indians have been allowed to clearly rape the club/.;

My nephew has just signed on at our academy I dont think my brother will be pleased at all with the venky circus at this moment in time,it had to be Rovers because they live in Lower Darren. Like Duggy and Walkden weve gone through the polio scare that got us relegated seen big John Mcnamee save us from relegation to the fourth been up and down ,always had decent players ,but never this bad.
