Great Win. But Sloppy Goals Conceded.

We did well in getting ahead when Newcastle caught up to us twice.
But let's be honest, should they really have scored those goals?

Newcastle should've been out of the game.
They deserved nothing from the game.

We couldn't do much about the first goal Ba scored. It was unfortunate.

What infuriates me though, is how the Arsenal players just stand there waiting for the opposition players to take a shot, or get a cross in. Close them down ffs.
Without sounding cliched, it's school boy defending.

I don't like picking on players after such a great win. But Gibbs was the worst player on the pitch today.
Two of those goals were his fault. Going forward he is/was wasteful too.

Maybe he should refrain from shouting and raving at his fellow team mates from now on. Tw'at.

All in all, it was a great game for the neutral. I'm sure we prefer to concede less goals though.

Both of them are usually consistent performers, so I don't think it's something to worry about. I'd rather they had a bad game in which we won and didn't cost us than at a crucial time.

Probably agree about bringing Jenko back in the mix. Sagna just looks like a different player at the moment.

I think we should put Sagna at LB and put Jenkinson at right back. Or put Vermaelen at LB and play Kossy and Mertesacker together.

Very poor first half performance but an major uplift in the second half performance. Once we stepped up our game Newcastle couldn't keep up with us. Walcott, Giroud when he came on, Wilshere and Podolski were all magnificent today. Wilshere looks back to his best. Hopefully we play like we did in the second half against Southampton on Tuesday. If we do, we'll comfortbably win.

Brilliant and correct comment.

Kamran, you are right. Our FB's were awful. Our CB were solid.
