Mertesacker was a massive miss.
We are pants without him

Our fullbacks cost us the goals today, Sagna got destroyed by Obertan.

Doom and gloom.....................
It has nothing to do with Mertesacker, our cemtre backs played well. Our fullbacks were poor.
In the first half we were poor. No pressing, and just allowed them so much time.
Agree on Gibbs. I've always thought he was overrated by us gooners, and it *****d me off when he got round the back of the defence and shot rather than pull it back .
Gibbs has been poor since his injury, and the same has to be said of Sagna.
The goals we conceded we did so ridiculously easy, but at least we're attacking well.
Think Sagna was worse than Gibbs tbh Dubbed, Obertan ripped him a new ars.ehole today.
Agree Castor, Mert is probably our most important player currently.
That's 4 straight wins, not one of them particuarly convincing but oh well!
"What infuriates me though, is how the Arsenal players just stand there waiting for the opposition players to take a shot, or get a cross in. Close them down ffs."
This. I was ripping my hair out.

Fully agree.
Doom and gloom?
Just cause we win doesn't mean we should turn a blind eye to our weaknesses.
If you don't want to discuss it, go elsewhere.

If Obertan switched on to the left, he'd destroy Gibbs.
Tbh, the main positive for me today, was even though Cazorla was pretty crap overall, we still managed to score 7. (He did get an assist though).

I actually agree. I would worry if Wenger and co were ignoring what in large was a very poor performance up until around the 80th minute.
Gibbs was constantly out of position. I think he's the most overrated Arsenal defender.
some g00ns are never happy.
Sagna's in poor form, time to bring Jenkinson in.

Both of them are usually consistent performers, so I don't think it's something to worry about. I'd rather they had a bad game in which we won and didn't cost us than at a crucial time.
Probably agree about bringing Jenko back in the mix. Sagna just looks like a different player at the moment.
