A while back someone asked who (realistically) should we look to get in to help us survive what is bound to be a fairly tough, nail biting second half of the season.
To be honest I'd be delighted with Rob Earnshaw. Can't see a reason we can't have a go at getting him in.

He's still pretty quick and knows where the back of a Championship net is. Young players on loan from the Prem are ok, but I'm not confident of a repeat of Kenwyne Jones (more likely a repeat of Bothroyd ) and we need players with Championship experience and know-how. Prutton's return to the team coinciding with a small upturn in form is a prime example.

Noticed that wolves are looking to put Danny Batth back out on loan may be worth trying to get him back. At least we'll have another member of last years line up

I would love Batth to come back. I think he's burnt a little of bridges though by chasing the money by going back to Wolves. At least that is how it looked to me - not sure though. He's definitely worth looking at.
Dorrans might be too high a price bracket for us. I suspect he'd prefer to go to a higher placed championship club if he were to stay in England????

The thing with DJ at the moment, is that no one wants to go into battle with someone constantly on the verge of tears.
I'd like to see Batth back and Dorrans would be a great signing. No one from prem will likely want him, so why not come to us? Brunty can put us a word in.

Dale Jennings!! Yeah I'd like to see that too!! Great prospect and no doubt have come on leaps and bounds since going there...even if he hasnt featured yet, look at the players they have, he'll have learnt from the likes of Robben and Ribery

Featured for the senior team that is, he currently plays for the reserves/ youth team, but still, surely he'll have trained alongside the likes of those two!!

No chance we will get dorans. Says that Brom will demand a fairly sizeable fee so that's us out of luck. Unless they will let him go for around 250k we have no chance. Baggies will be looking for 1m at least

It'll be the usual bench warmers we'll take on loan while they nurse old injuries. Dorrans will go to a higher placed championship team if he moves at all.
