Ronaldo plays as a forward most of the time. Mourinho is talking balls.

Obviously he tracks back sometimes. Doesn't mean he's not camped in the opposition half for most of the game.

Fyi Messi tracks back too. It's part of the game.

I think Messi would still be a better player if you swapped team, wouldn't matter. Ronaldo might score bucketloads playing at Barca but I'm not so sure they'd be as good due to him being nowhere near as efffective in a quick passing/possession game.

Messi on the other hand would excel at Madrid given how much they base their sides around countering and individual skill.

Even if Ronaldo scored more than Messi he's still not as good. Kaka scored more goals than Zizou but Zizou was a much better player.

I don't like how you used Kaka as an example there Darren.

Why? He was an exceptionally talented player that scored more goals than another exceptionally talented player, but was not as good.

Messi is better he might just be the greatest ever (sorry Zidane i don't mean it but for all his wonderful ability he didn't win anything of value last year where as Ronaldo goals helped Real Madrid win La Liga ahead of Barcelona i think Ronnie deserved it this time.

Ronaldinho is he only player that Messi in NOT better than. Ronaldinho was just something else! yeah he didn't score many goals nor did he last long... but between 2004-6 he was pure magic!! Messi aint got anything on ronaldinho. my opinion
