How good a manager is Mourinho? He went to chelsea, spent 70 mil pounds immediately on players and won some trophies. Started to feel a little bit of pressure early 2007/08 season and wasn't able to handle it and was shown the door.
Went to Inter, a team already winning trophies under Mancini, but no-one can take away his achievement of the treble.
Madrid was next and again he spent tons of money on players and has won 2 trophies I think. In this current season he's just drawn with a team a the bottom of the log. He's been under pressure all season and just doesn't seem to have a plan.
Do you Chelsea fans really wan him back at the bridge? We all know he won't be there for longer than 3 seasons.

Really? It is extremely difficult to play absolutely gash for 5 months of the season and then turn it on for 2 games, it doesn't work like that. I think we are favourites.

I think Chelsea proved last season that it certainly can work like that.

you don't have the real trophy. You have a trophy. The 'real' one i.e the first one was handed out ages ago

the funny thing is real madrid are playing the only team they could have faced that they won't be favourite against. I reckon real madrid are trying to focus on champions league as league is done and dusted.

anyway, this has gone off into banter rather than discussion
I gave my opinion which is there are justified criticisms of even the 'best' Chelsea, United, and Liverpool managers.

Chelsea did not turn it on in the CL! They were completely battered by Barca twice and Bayern.

The second leg performance against Barca was a defensive masterclass. Seriously, some people called it parking the bus, but with 10 men it has to have been one of the best defensive performances I have seen.
And when you consider that this was a team who leaked goals for fun in the league last season, you'll see my point. Madrid have lost motivation for the league, they just dont have much to play for. The CL is a different story. To underestimate them because of their league form is a foolish thing to do.

Can't stand him, his Porto team had the talent to pass Celtic off the park yet he set them out to fall over at every opportunity and eventually won the Uefa cup against us.

Is this article serious? Mourinho is the only manager that I want as Fergie's successor. He is a guaranteed trophy machine.
