I genuinely believe we only need 3 signings to get us back in the right direction.

A world class defensive mid in the mould of Mascherano, someone to break up opposition attacks and chase the ball down.

A out and out winger, like Gervinho but actually good at football, maybe the Ox will eventually fulfill this role but he needs at least 2 more seasons.

A world class striker. Theo and Giroud are good options, but shouldn't be first choice.

Unfortunatlely can't see Wenger bringing these players in

This sounds familiar...

I see this sentiment being echoed around teh interwebs throughout Arsenals prolonged downswings season in, season out and it's almost always forgotten as soon as we put a few results together.

Look how upbeat everyone was in September. Rock solid defence, new signing scoring for fun and all without the golden boy Wilshere. Fast forward 6 weeks and it's all doom and gloom.

We are an oddly changeable fanbase.
