I'm still finding this all too weird. Liverpool in a good mood and United bleating on endlessly about a well reffed match that United won through an offside goal that Liverpool don't even care about. And Webb was the ref

The reason Bloomer is banging on about it is quite simple;

When Webb was announced there was countless articles about how he always favours United and you don't stand a chance simply becuase of it.

Yet during the game he failed to send off 2 liverpool players and give United a clear penalty.

Vidic is a debatable offside but thats not Webbs call anyway.

Yet all these mistakes are forgotten and when he is drawn as ref for the Chelsea or City game v us we will have the same drivel posted about how he favours us.
