FFS we won the game fecking move on
well said lads i thought Webb had a good game, but you won so enjoy it
tbh i thought he probably should have sent johnson off near the end for 2 yellows, but that was the only complaint
why? it doesnt affect my life after we've won
for the reason i gave in the article
i dont care whether you care or not
Every team has a set of 'aggrieved fans' who are indignant at some perceived injustice by the media and in my opinion, you all are wrong as you cannot all be right.
what are you going on about
What i am going on about? Your perceived injustice by the media in failing to highlight 'Howard Webb's mistakes' just because we are Manchester United.
It is fallacy, biased and wrong.
I get the OPs point so I think RVPs response was a bit unneccessary. It wasn't brushed upon because the pundits on Sky had ties to Liverpool. It wasn't an issue because it didn't cost us points. Just put it in the bank for next time the United get all the decisions feud erupts
the biggest difference between us and everybody else is, win NORMALLY win despite horrendous decisions going against us so it just gets forgotten about.
where did i mention the media
your the one thats wrong
no it doesnt
you misread it
can't think of anything major Webb got wrong
Johnson was debateable but they were fouling each other back and forth before his laughable missed attempt at a rugby tackle. I think Webb just said 60% Johnson, 40% Valencia, 100% handbags and gave the freekick to United.
it was an obvious second yellow
no possible dispute about that
nah, he'd already made up his mind that it was 2 way fouling. The only reason Johnson went for the 'tackle' was Valencia pulled him back and he missed the clearance. The only reason valencia did that was johnson barged into him. There were a fair few minor fouls in there both ways.
would have been harsh
give it a rest
thats as clear a yellow as youll see and the reason he didnt give it was because he was already on a yellow
he hadnt given any of the minor fouls if they even were a foul so a rugby tackle is a booking no question
"a rugby tackle is a booking no question"
agreed
if that was the first thing that happened he should have been booked
it was the thing that the foul was given for
you can spin it however you want to make yourself feel better but he should have been off
