Great bit of business!

Hats off to mr whyte if he can get 3m for boogie. Hes not been at his best and with only a year left on his deal, 3m would be a remarkable amount to get for him.

No more letting players run down their contract. If they dont want to sign a new deal, sell them.

tcd - it might be 10 , 5, 5, then 2yrs at 2.5m for all we know. As i said, whyte hasnt mentioned that this years budget is 5m or that theres a warchest.

Its all media speculation. Read the quotes, not the headlines. Im not even going to ask you to provide the quotes anymore, as you clearly cant.

Pollocks - wouldnt surprise me. 3m would be a cracking price, but your figure sounds more realistic.

I'm I wrong in thinking that Bougherra is eligible to buy out the last year of his contract???

That can only amount to a million quid at most????

Bougherra was quoted in a newspaper(can't remember which one) saying he wouldn't do that.

If he could and would then he'd have done it by now or we'd have taken the 1st offer for him that was over a years salary..........maybe he's negotiated a % of the transfer fee??

Pearsonification

That certainly wasn't a ridiculous statement by Elite.......it's exactly what I want my team to do and it makes perfect business sense.

The player has the right not to go and can stay and earn his money but players aren't shy in trying to force through a move when it suits them so I want my club to cash in when a player has a decent value......if he's not willing to extend his contract.

The OP is all over the place...He has already flummoxed from hoping you get £3m for Boogy, to agreeing with another poster that that figure is probably wrong

He's hopeless with numbers

The figure is wrong this Quatari lot are minted. More like £5 million

tcd - of course i would hope its 3m, as it would be to the benefit of rangers. Pretty obvious. I even stated in my OP that 3m, and i quote 'would be a remarkable amount to get for him'.

So when pollocks said it would be less, i agreed a lesser figure would be more realistic, less remarkable.

Are you really that stupid?
