Been a while since a team has had us pinned back like that in the league, like you did in the second half today. You are now looking a really good side. Still lacking a world class Striker though.
Yes we should have had a penalty on Rooney but in all fairness a point was a fair result. Spurs didn't deserve to lose and neither did United after the way we defended.
No complaints from me. A good match and fair result.
Hope you lot get 4th place or even third. You definitely deserve it.
Well played Spurs

take RVP away which means we play with 10 men all season, yes.. id say we would end up about mid table. not bad for 10 men.
didnt we come joint top last season without RVP? moron

joint top
no still bitter then on how you blew that points lead to your rivals last season

Would suggest we would be unlikely to be 14th without RVP though... think about it.

over it.
tell me, take bale away from spurs, where would you be sitting this season? 20th i think sounds about right.
lets take mata from chelsea too, they'd be about 19th.
lets also take dzeko from city, they'd be about 15th.
good one

That seems somewhat unlikely...

Take RVP away and someone else would have played in his place. United finished second on goal diffrence. And that was without RVP and Kagawa (who hasn't play much this season). It's practically the same squad, the difference is that we started this season with hardly any CBs available, and our wingers form have been utter kak. If they were on form, I'd and we didn't get a hell of a lot of injuries than we'd be top, even without RVP.

We lost 10 times as many days due to injury last season than City did...
Were it just for a little bit more luck with injuries we probably would have had enough last season let alone adding RVP...
