Celtic fans, not on the WUM here but if spurs do get Hooper then what can we expect? Is he actually good enough to improve what we already have and get us top 4? I must say i'm not to excited by this rumour and i have never really seen him play hence why i am interested in you're views.

Hooper is a very good striker mate, has a great record in europe aswell. Single handedly won us the game in Moscow. Excellent poacher, majority of his goals come from inside the box, hardly ever seen him miss a chance. Links up well and is very strong given his height.
He may not be first choice for Tottenham but he would be a very good option for you guy's as you are a Defoe injury away from being in trouble up top.
He's a spurs fan by all accounts. Would hate to see him go but that's the reality we face.
£8m, given the current market is a great price for Hooper.
Think it's only a rumour anyway.

All this talk of us not offering Hooper the same money as the top earners is total rubbish. We offered him £25k many months ago to secure his services for a longer period but he doesent want to stay he wants to go in the summer after the CL.

One of these daft ITK guys on twitter saying norwich have bid £8.5m. I severely doubt it

Its quite a strange situation because if we hadnt done so welll in the CL this year then Hoopers value would be £5m tops and with no CL to look forward to im sure Hooper would happily go to Norwich. But, as things stand, his sight must be set higher because Celtic can offer the latter stages of CL football. So, now he is possibley feeling like Norwhich is below him?
Funny how things work out in the space of 12 months?
