Im dissapointed that Celtic have not uped his wage..
He does however have 18 months left on his deal and that still leaves us in the driving seat
What wages have the club offered. Ledley and Broon are our two highest earners
He should be paid the same as Brown. Although two very different players, Hooper is more important than Brown Get him signed up on a new contract. Clubs in England will still be sniffing after him
Pretty daft if Celtic aren't paying him in line with the top earners as he's one of our most important players. He'll be going in the summer anyway so what's to lose.

Metro's linked him to Spurs today, any grounds behind this rumour?
We should be looking to hang onto Hooper, Ledley, Matthews, Izzy, Forrest etc... and continue to build. I concede Wanyama will go but only for mega money.
We could increase his wages but include a minimum release clause in the contract.
He is happy and we protect our investment
Although I'm guessing that Pistol wont like the "increase his wages" bit
Possibly just free paper talk!

Disagree, the whole point of our signing policy is to generate funds for the club.
Jinky you beat me to it its alright for these retiered folk
If i was Hooper and Brown was getting more than me i would be heavy Hooper is worth far more than brown who i think is over rated and not worth what we paid for him and what hes on a week
Its a no brainer. Give him the same as Brown get him signed up on a new contract, he deserves it Plus we increase our "hold" over any future sale
Nothing up here Super T.
I did see you linked to HSV striker Heung-Min Son today. If football manager is anything to go by - which it is - he is a goalscoring machine
Spot on Wiegh
Chu, I agree to a certain extent but these guys have brought us on so much. They should be held onto unless its for mad money or they are looking for crazy wages I dont think Hooper is asking for too much
Think we need this sorted if true as i am sure other Epl teams will come knocking
Jungle its not what you know its who you know
Rumours in Spurs are after him..
£10m please
He is established first choice main striker he should be in line with the top earners or if not the top one himself.
Get rid of the deadwood and use the cash to sign our best young players on good deals
Also look to get more players bedded into the SPL from our youth set up once the league is in the bag.
I never listen to this stuff. 'Good source' 'Mate is not one for making up....'
No offence intended to anyone but 99% is crap and the 1% that proves correct is no more than an educated guess.
If Wigan put in a bid for Wanyama I could post that a good mate of mine who isn't one for idle gossip has assured me that he doesn't fancy Wigan. Chances are I'd be right.
If we were to sell I would hope we`d be looking for more than £10m. His goals in Europe this season have made more than £10m!
Does he actual want a new deal?

Agreed but we have a plan and structure in place that needs to be stuck to.
If we turn round and say ach we've got a good group of players lets just hang on to them, we either lose them when the contracts up or end up paying them higher wages. Scottish football doesnt allow us to do this and we dont want to end up like another glasgow team.
Lets stick to the plan, cheap young players with potential get them improve them and ship them out for a profit.
If the team and club are successful the vast majority of our squad will be happy to hang about.
Wiegh you speak too much sense mate
Chuman is spot on. Our signing policy is to sign young players with potential for good resale values. Paying them £25k a week rather defeats the purpose.

Hooper does not want to go to Norwich
