Its like Jinky said make of it what you want but what strikes this as been spot on is it s leaked Hooper was offered 25k a week were Brown is on £32k so if I was Hooper I would be irked and would want the same money.

Also Irvine makes sense that he wouldn't want to go to Norwich from Celtic the whole point of going in the SPL is to better himself and sorry Norwich is not that

Chu, again I agree with a lot youve to say mate but I would have thought Hooper deserves at the very least the same package as Brown If we were to get him on a new contract it improves our position in selling him on. He will go to the EPL at some point would much rather he went for what he is worth BTW Brown is not worth his salary, not worth half of it

i seriously doubt brown is on 32k

i know what your saying but normally this guy is spot on like i said each to there own on this

Chum is Brown worth £32,000 the question is Hooper is 24 so i thinkif he keeps banging the goals in then his pricec can only improve dont look short term

Dont agree with Browns wage either (i doubt how accurate it is though) Nobody from this current squad should be breaking the 20-25k mark.

Larsson(obviously worth more than he could ever be paid) Sutton Hartson and co I can understand because they were signed already on high wages.

The mistake comes when you get a situation like Bobo

Brown is deffo on 32k a week that I can confirm

It's not Norwich (or any of the lower ranked EPL sides) that is the attraction. It's the EPL itself.

Taking on Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc must be hugely attractive to players.

And if he has ambitions to actually play for one of the big clubs then playing for Norwich and proving his worth in the EPL could be a better route than the SPL.

Jinky, Hooper is for the off I think most likely in the summer. Hes came in and done a job whilst raising his own profile. Hes not worth 32k a week short term or long term.

Ledley is our second highest earner at £25k pw imo he's worth every penny

how do you know JB? that would go against the clubs business model would it not. I thought the days of players on those type of wages ended with balde, sutton, hartson, thompson etc

Jungle I'll have to question how you know this?

It's all about opinions isn't it? I think Scott Brown is our most important player and I have no problem with him being the highest earner.

Broony is worth every penny.

Hooper has earned a wage rise.

Some joker on here thought Hoops was already on 20k a week.

Norwich I think is a step back for him yes here he is playing in the SPL but also which you forgot to mention he is playing in what every player in the world want to be CL football and sorry Norwich will never get that

I think Hooper either knows something or he is hoping that a bigger club is going to come in which I think will

Chu..He's defo our highest earner..he was on £25k before he signed a new deal..he will be on much more

posted on 22/1/13

exactly GF, only the club and the player will know

posted on 22/1/13

Hes our highest earner (as captain he should be) but I refuse to believe hes on 32k a week basic.

Maybe I have said to much but trust me Brown is on 32K I would bet my life savings on it thats all I am saying

Anyway the point I am making is if Brown can get paid this then why can't our top striker we all know he will move onto the EPL so sign him know get more money later

Hooper is not a million miles from an England call up. Hodgson seems to have a bit about about him and wont be as ignorant of the fact he is playing in the SPL. Hooper gets a call up, does well ching ching

One serious injury away from being stuck with a 32k a week striker for 4 years.
