Another Liverpool reject doing well after being released by the Reds.

I find this line that people on here trot out ridiculous - 'found out'.

That's not true aggers. Plenty of good teams buy poor players.

cant help but feel that is a bad move for him at his age, filipe is a fantastic full back and he has zero chance of getting ahead of him, i thought there would have been clubs of a similar stature where he would be first choice

I couple of years being second choice at a top club will only do him good. Filipe will be thirty ion a couple of years and Insua will be entering into his prime.

I never thought he was crap, he just wasn't ready to be playing regularly.

Insua didn't have enough experience to excel at left back for us.
Opponents used to put a tall attacker on him all the time and he would always lose out allowing for an attack from his side.
Good to see the lad doing well but I don't think he will ever come back to the prem.

This. Teams targeted him and he got punished. I liked him though and I'd still have him in the squad myself. I like Robbo though and I feel he should get more games.

How many players have left us to go on to better things??
He was a good prospect but nothing more. At this stage in his career it seems we made the right decision

Alonso? Mascherano?
Mikel San Jose's doing decent at Bilbao, so too is El Zhar at Levante.
