I am pleased McLeish has gone.
I am very pleased he didn't let it drag on as he very easily could have done.
So thank you AM for that!!!
I was as underwhelmed with his appointment, as I was with being 'linked' to McCarthy.
But please.... Please please ..... The next appointment.
A) dont bloôdy rush into this one.
B) please let it be someone we actually LIKE!!
How many square peg round hole managers can we get!?!?!
SOD was the best 'fit' we've had in years , but arguably didn't have the relevant experience.
Who's it going to be?? Haven't got a clue. But I just hope he can bring the feel good factor back. As this last month has been horrendous!!!
Ps. McLeish one win in seven!?! The worst manager in our history??!! Must be in there with a shout!!!
Pps. Thinking about it.... I'd say billy on a short term contract till the end if the season!! How much damage can he do in a few months!!?? And also, it'd make things interesting!! Plus, a quick upturn in results - he's done that before!!
Who'd be a forest fan
'Feel good factor'.....

We need someone who can hit the ground running. I am absolutely convinced the time is right for Pembo to take charge, but would do it on a 'temporary' basis in order to take the pressure off him. If he needs a TV interfacing front man at some point, then so be it (if he's happy with that). Alternatively, BD is another candidate that could salvage something out of this rather unusual season. The fact that BD has issues and baggage is a concern, but he must know the score with the club by now.
Whatever happens, I am pleased to see the back of Mr Eck. Some things are just never meant to be! Good luck to him though.
I am also pleased this announcement has happened. Things were going a bit quiet, and I was worried someone would have to start a thread about potential seating changes at the CG to get the banter going!

Would just like to mention as well Billy has been offered the Blackpool job and has til this afternoon on if he is going to take it. If he dosn't then surely that means he is coming back to Forest?
i would just like to see Stret's reaction if he came back!

Yes, I am sure FAwaz would take the criticism that was metered out to Doughty (RIP) form the little Scottish twát.
He would end up in the bottom of the Trent.

If today doesn't go the way SBS thinks (hopes!) it's going to, I can see him chucking himself in the Trent at this rate. Have you ever seen anyone so excited!

Fawaz needs to bring back Frank Clark and make him Director of Football, then appoint a new C.E, then put together a credible management plan for the next two years. Or am I the only one who thinks decision making happens over the breakfast cornflakes?
