Forest have secured a big money contract for the manager’s chair from NEXT!
I don't matter if they rush into it if it is someone we will like
Would rather they rushed in this way then take a long time and end up with a clown like Hughes or keane
Ha ha
If we don't laugh well cry.
Are we becoming a bit of a joke??
Everything makes sense.
The decisions made are for sound reasons.
But when you look at the big picture....
We do look a bit of a shambles.....
Billy Davies is the best fit as manager. His demands and expectations are equally unreasonable - just like the fans. I think that's why I liked him.
Surely Nigel Adkins looks like the best man on the market for you at the moment?
Adkins is best option - but would he come? To whoever suggested Billy on a short contract: do you really think his ego would allow that?
I'd like to see Adkins come in as manager but one thing is clear we won't get anyone who will take us forwards unless Fawas is open and honest about his level of involvement, support for transfers and targets for the club.
The club needs to accept this is not the 70/80s and we are not the force we used to be no matter how much we may all wish it was different. Let's get someone in who will be given time to build us back to where we belong so we can stay there.
My ghast has never been so flabbered. When will this madness end? Mind you it is fun in a rubber-necking car crash,Grandma falling down the stairs sort of way....
We need someone who can hit the ground running. I am absolutely convinced the time is right for Pembo to take charge, but would do it on a 'temporary' basis in order to take the pressure off him. If he needs a TV interfacing front man at some point, then so be it (if he's happy with that). Alternatively, BD is another candidate that could salvage something out of this rather unusual season. The fact that BD has issues and baggage is a concern, but he must know the score with the club by now.
Whatever happens, I am pleased to see the back of Mr Eck. Some things are just never meant to be! Good luck to him though.
I am also pleased this announcement has happened. Things were going a bit quiet, and I was worried someone would have to start a thread about potential seating changes at the CG to get the banter going!
Would just like to mention as well Billy has been offered the Blackpool job and has til this afternoon on if he is going to take it. If he dosn't then surely that means he is coming back to Forest?
i would just like to see Stret's reaction if he came back!
Stop repeating yourself SBS.
Yes, I am sure FAwaz would take the criticism that was metered out to Doughty (RIP) form the little Scottish twát.
He would end up in the bottom of the Trent.
SBS your obbession with billy is sad and very unhealthy.
If today doesn't go the way SBS thinks (hopes!) it's going to, I can see him chucking himself in the Trent at this rate. Have you ever seen anyone so excited!
He has his Kleenex belly wipes at the ready.
Strett...
Wrong wrong wrong.......
Fawaz needs to bring back Frank Clark and make him Director of Football, then appoint a new C.E, then put together a credible management plan for the next two years. Or am I the only one who thinks decision making happens over the breakfast cornflakes?
