Just reading about Lazio's punishment of two behind closed doors games. What happens do they just play it in the stadium with no fans allowed in and film it as normal? Or does it take place on some random pitch with no access allowed?
It seems like this punishes their opponents as well as they would lose out on their slice of ticket sales?
Have we ever had to play any behind closed doors games?

It is a weak punishment, IMO. The games should be played at the away teams ground, with only the other teams fans allowed.

Don't know that we've played behind closed doors, but terraces were closed for 2 games 82/83. Stands were open though.

I remember seeing Leeds lose 3-2 to Shrewsbury at Elland Road; I think Mickey Thomas scored their winner. It was well aftter 1983 though - more like 1989.
