Just been browsing the BBC Sport page, and on the gossip column part there's an extract from talksport say we have interest in Alexis Sanchez. Not the most believable of sources, granted, but this rumour was around in Jan as well. Back then it seemed an unrealistic dream of a signing. In the summer however it may be more plausible, depending on price and where we finish.
I've heard that he no longer plays much for Barca, and may be available. If so I would love us to sign him, perfect replacement Downing on the right. I guess his price would still be pretty high though.
What do you think boys... Any chance of pulling this off?

Maybe he will. We could even prize Messi away from them too. I think he would come, but then again, he's always been a bit over-hyped anyway...

I don't think so. He wouldn't want to signfor a manager who is in no fit state to talk.

Maybe. Instead, I imagine he'd want to play for the manager that created the pass and move. Sir Alex doesn't quite hold that mantle unfortunately.

I think he'd be quite happy if the manager was in a fit state to at least talk, movement can be worked on.

He'll be downing that whiskey come May. Til' then, he doesn't need to talk. He just gets his job done. Brenton could take a note of that.
