Also it says they we are in competition with Napoli for his signature, but surely there would be a whole host of clubs after him?
I don't think this will happen without CL football.
Yeah I'd be happy with the signing. Not too happy with the source though. I think that means we won't get him.
Great signing but I doubt it will happen.
I would imagine he would be looking for CL football together with a massive pay cheque.
don't see us being an option sadly,
could be a City,Utd or Chelsea signing for the Summer,Spurs even, but not us, no CL football or pay decent wages.
Sadly I think you're all right... Any ideas on who could realistically be got for the right wing berth?
If we sign him and he kicks on, and we sign a centre back we will be in contention for the top 4 next season without any doubt.
If we can sell the project to Alexis then I don't see why not - Liverpool is a huge name in South America. It depends what his motivation is. He'd be a guaranteed starter at Liverpool and could be part of a team building for the future.
But maybe he wants to play CL next year and then we don't stand a chance. Depends how well we can sell the project to players. Chelsea are going to be in the CL next year most probably but after the turmoil there this season, who would you rather play for?
We have a good contingent of South American players now with Suarez, Lucas, Coates, Coutinho plus other latin players Enrique, Suso, Reina ect.
Cout wouldn't have come without Lucas and I think it might be a selling point come summer if we can finish 5th.
The Liverpool rumours editors claim any interest in Sanchez would only be as a potential replacement for Suarez if he leaves.
All sounds like balls to me.
Would be a good replacement for the outbound Suarez and with Borini coming back you have enough central.
I wouldn't put to much into he ed's on Liverpool rumours, they're shocking!
Just like the balloon head above!
He's had a poor season and lacks confidence. Was always a bit over-hyped anyway. Not sure about his mental strength.
A bit of a (potentially) expensive risk.

Sanchez and Asamoah ran the show for Udinese not long ago.
Yeah, Sanchez at Liverpool...
The delusion continues.
Maybe he'll go to United if Fergie is in a fit state to negoatiate with him.
Maybe he will. We could even prize Messi away from them too. I think he would come, but then again, he's always been a bit over-hyped anyway...
I don't think so. He wouldn't want to signfor a manager who is in no fit state to talk.
Maybe. Instead, I imagine he'd want to play for the manager that created the pass and move. Sir Alex doesn't quite hold that mantle unfortunately.

I think he'd be quite happy if the manager was in a fit state to at least talk, movement can be worked on.
If only Sir Alex could talk like Brenton...
If only Old Whiskey could talk at all...he's in no fit state though.
He'll be downing that whiskey come May. Til' then, he doesn't need to talk. He just gets his job done. Brenton could take a note of that.
