Moyes seems to have the same problem that Martinez has. 11 years and the same stale formation a change could work. if not then it was worth the risk of staying as an average side
I agree, sometimes a change is needed, but what will any new manager get from the squad that moyes hasn't already?
To allow a new manager funds to build his own side, it would require the sale of star players. Therein lies the gamble as if that money is wasted, it sets the club back.
We should know, we wasted £35m on a certain striker that will never play another game for us and that has hamstrung us

What do you expect on his current budget?
He outperforms on what he is given....a championship budget. A team no longer backed by Whelan.

Fellaini, he was not first choice. Rodgers knocked the club back initially as we wanted a DOF to work alongside him.
Martinez was interviewed but never offered a job

I think the op is right in wanting change, moyse has done a good job with Everton but he's taken them as far as he can and for the good of the club and himself its time for change. As for who would replace him, Adkins would be a good shout and on a riskier but exciting prospect, Di canio!
