Why? He's kept you around top 8 in his tenure with not a big spending budget, he's spotted some decent players like Fellaini for you as well. Not to mention a great start to the season

After all Moyes has done for Everton,he deserves a damn sight more respect than this

RVP he has cost us so many points this season with his negativity and he cost us today with that line up and game plan.
Since Norwich away have I been wanting Moyes to go, before that I was never a "Moyes Basher" I understand what he has done for us but I think it's time for him to leave.

Bill should grow a pair and give him the ultimatum of sign this contract now or resign.
It's deffo having an effect on the team, just like it did previously when he was dawdling over signing - AND IT'S COSTING US AGAIN!!!

I understand he isn't the best tactically, but he may adapt his game and learn new things. I always thought you Everton fans stood by your man and not react to a few losses, I agree with the above post his contract ending soon isn't having a good effect on the dressing room.
PPLF.. I don't think Moyes is giving the fans the respect they deserve by dragging out the contract situation.
Like I said I will never forget wehat he has done for everton but it is time for him to go now..
Since he said he was pleased to hit 40 points and he would decide at the seasons end.
We have been looking at this sort of beating since then.Iwould like to see him move on and have a fresh start.
I think Everton have done fantastically well to be sitting in 6th considering the difference in resources of the clubs around them
Once Moyes goes you can be sure Baines & Fellaini will follow suit and 6th place finish will be a pipedream
Everton fans need to realise they are overachieving every season. With your budget and resources at the club you can't really expect anymore. Moyes is doing a great job.
Remember when Villa were finishing 5th in the league and still the fans were booing Martin O'neil then he got the sack. Now look at Villa were they are now. That could easily happen to Everton if Moyes left.
Fresh start..
That is the way i should have put it! I think we need a fresh start
Moyes could also look for a new assistant manager who can help him out tactically, you don't know how much SAF benefitted from Queiroz a few years ago. Without him we probably wouldn't have beat Barcelona in 2008
Dixie. A fresh start is what's needed. A bit if a clearout.
Fellaini would be my first choice out.

He can have David Platt with pleasure

I know I can block them but this way they will still be able to comment.
I just don't want the childish comments on my thread.
Personally I don't want Moyes to go, yes he can be tactiacally inept (especially in Europe) but his league placing over the years speak for itself.
What I am fed up with is the contract situ, it's having a really negative effect on the team (just like 5yrs ago) and his heart just doesn't seem to be in it, so either sign or go.
As a manager, he wouldn't accept a player doing what he's doing, so why should us fans put up with it and indeed, the players themselves as they don't know were they stand.
Kenwright etc. get him in front of the board, show contract, given pen and say "Sign or do one"
Moonhead platt does look like he knows feck all about football
PPLF, I think we need a change and i would go for Martinez!
I know he isn't the most popular chioce but I think he could do a good job at Everton.
Felliani is as good as gone anyway and maybe Martinez can persuade Baines to stay..
