All I would say is the the "supporters" started to get on Bloomfield's back when Leicester were 6th in the first division, the board listened, City have never ever reached those heights again.
MON took over when I believe city were 2nd in the the second division, we slipped down the table, the supporters were calling for Martins head, we slipped outside the top six the supporters became more vociferous, for which Martin never really forgave us. The rest is history as they say.
We have nothing to gain by sacking the manager at this stage of the season.

people wanting Nigel Adkins in seem to have not noticed that since he has left they have moved up the league, is he really the right replacement or were Southampton on the verge or bringing the points in when he was wrongly sacked......

FFS and Spoony have it right, dounsouf - that's how it seemed to me too, as I watched.
There was never a period when we were truly "battering" Wednesday: we had a quite a lot of possession around their area for some spells, but only rarely made a decent chance. Kirkland played well, but this was not a "miracle goalie saves the day" occasion. We were never at any stage worth a three goal lead, and neither was there there much difference between our performances in the first and second half. Lita and Nugent were the best players on the field.
Yes, Wednesday were resilient, and their defence (lots of beefy giants) played very well. And Schmeichel apart, yes - as others have underlined here - they wanted it a great deal more. It is this which really baffles and angers me, because it has been the case in far too many games over the last month or so. Wednesday did deserve to win.

.....Sorry, should added Nugent's name to Schmeichel's, as someone who actually looked hungry and really up for it .

Thanks to 'Forx and Spoons', and to Malling. Not appealing to the ear is it...another bout of intense gloom beckons no doubt.
The only comment yesterday that I was prepared to accept was when shortly before kick-off they announced "The heavens have just opened up over Leicester".

No.
Why?
Because sacking the manager almost never works. I hope the owners have learnt from the Sven sacking fiasco and keep their nerve.
Last time I looked we were still in a playoff spot (yes I know if our current form continues that won't be for long).
Lcfc69 - "I agree that knowing City they could well go to Cardiff and get a 1-0 victory but it would be a one off as Cardiff have hit a bad patch". So a win or draw at the league leaders would get Pearson no credit but a loss presumably confirms your viewpoint? The bad patch you refer to by the way is W4 D2 L2 - hardly a crisis. If we'd had a similar run of results we'd be 2 points off the autos with a game in hand.

Brother in law with Motty last night who thinks Pearsons going today. Is that a prediction or fact?

I saw Pearson being interviewed before the game on the football league show last night and he showed a more human side to him. His interviews with stringer don't do him any favours whatsoever.
That said, he's still not really producing!

It's difficult because this is our first significant bad patch in the season and it will be so gutting to drop out of the top 6 after so long.
We are still, at this stage, having the best season we've had at this level for 9 years and we did have a similar run of form during March in Pearson's first stint where we look bereft of ideas, but turned that around with a good finish to the season. If we are going to have a bad run it's better to have it now.
I think taking the above in to account, if we are going to lay the blame at Pearson's feet, it would only be fair to also give him the credit for taking us from a team who couldn't string two wins together in a season or mingle with the top 6, to one who hasn't dropped out of it for a very long time now.
I appreciate you have to pre-empt things getting worse sometimes, but I am not sure now is the time to rock the boat with a new manager.

.......We nolonger score goals.......Score more than 0 in previous games and we would have had won win. Then drawn enough to get us safely in the high end of the play offs.
Score 2 per game and we would be riding high.
This has happened since Spurs sent us a young lad.
