rio pulls out of England squad.. after all the bollox and the rubbish after he was dropped last time we now find he cant play 2 games in "such a short space of time"???
He could if man utd were still in the champions league..
being honest, I should be able to play centre back against san marino with my mum partnering me in her housecoat and slippers..
Montenegro might be a different story but he could well have just played that one????
lennon and dawson pull out??
if spurs were mid table would they have pulled out???
Probably not..
Its just another slap in the face for England football supporters and another telling sign of just where these "footballers" see their allegiance..
club and money, long, long before the national team...
its why we wont win anything again, we are the only multi national nation and the flag and history means f-ck all to most of the footballers who get paid handsomely to just "wear the shirt"...
Beckham and his like must want to punch these f-ckers in the mouth...
The Italian/spansih and german national teams have very few withdrawals , even for friendlies and that speaks volumes for national/personal pride... ours haven't got any..just bank accounts and foreign managers(ferguson included) who don't give a "rats ars-" about England and positively revel in our "going to sh-t"....
another rant;;
graham poll writing in the mail says halsey should miss loads of games for not "seeing" the wigan lads challenge on sunday..???
If he and the lino didn't see it, then that's that, its on tv and the powers that be can look at it again and deal... what halsey didn't do, which is important, is have a f-cking guess as to what happened...quite rightly, I have seen loads of officials just have a bit of a guess after an incident or with offsides etc.. If you don't see it or your not sure, DONT GUESS, let play go on... tbh, if he guessed on sunday and booked the lad, that would have been that, halsey would have had to pretend he saw it as a booking...
players make serious mistakes and errors for the whole 90 minutes which "affect" the outcome of the game, ref fails to have x ray vision and he gets slated, its sh-t.... he kept up with play very well and if players run across his line of sight at a vital moment how the f-cking hell can he be blamed????
ars-holes filling newspaper columns....and w-nkers with 10 different camera views and slo-mo pretending to be experts...
england squad???

I reckon we send Blackburn a red letter regarding the rest of the Rhodes money. At this rate they're gonna spend all their money in compensation and probably end up in administration, leaving us well shafted

I have a ridiculous theory that the Venkys paid well over the odds for Rhodes and then, knowing they had big future payments coming decided to try to get into administration at the earliest opportunity. Thats why they let Kean stay on in the summer as he had proven he was good at getting a team relegated. Trouble was he did better than expected and so had to put pressure on him to resign. Then they realised they could just sack loads of managers at ridiculous times and pay more and more in compensation.
After all who else would "head hunt" Michael Appleton!!!!

If a club folds before the full transfer is paid then that player should return to the club that "sold" him.
If I personally run out of money and can't pay the mortgage, then the bank takes my house....so why, if a club goes into admin and can't settle it's payments on an purchase, does that purchase not return to the seller?

Footballing debts are paid first so we would be alright. They would have to give us the cash or I guess when assets are sold off we get the money then. They could always give us Rhodes plus a few million as in a fire sale he isnt worth what they owe us!!!

Best bit is how the Blackburn fans were lauding themselves as the "big club" when they came down. Now they're a bigger embarrassment than Portsmouth and even worse than Chelsea for manager loyalty.
Joke club.

I was surprised when Appleton was appointed their manager, because to me he comes across as a fairly insipid and quiet individual, who wouldn't inspire much confidence in anyone.
As for the Venky's, they obviously understand f-ck all about football and they should stick to raising f-cking chickens.
C-ck-a-doodle f-cking do.
