So he punched a wall after a bust up....probabaly in line with what most of were thinking. He should have just picked it up!
From the Telegraph On Line
Ikeme is understood to have had a heated bust-up with Saunders and punched the wall in a rage, following the calamitous own goal in Wolves' basement battle against Bristol City on Saturday.
David Davis’s back-pass embarrassed Ikeme by going through his legs to gift City a first-half lead in their crucial Championship encounter, resulting in a full-scale dressing room inquest at half-time.
Ikeme was furious with himself for being at the centre of the incident in such a vital game and took exception to Saunders’s criticism and slammed his fist into a wall, injuring himself and forcing Wolves into a substitution, with Dorus de Vries appearing for the second period.
Saunders claimed after Wolves’ 2-1 win that Ikeme had injured his hand during the game in the first half but the damage was self-inflicted at the interval. Ikeme, 26, had an x-ray at the weekend and Wolves fear he has fractured a bone. He is expected to be sidelined for at least a month and may not play again this season.
As a result of his injury, Saunders has been forced into recalling Ireland under-21 international Aaron McCarey from his loan spell at Walsall to strengthen his goalkeeping options

More lies coming from the Mol.
Dean Saunders has confirmed goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has broken his hand after a dressing room row but will not be fining him.
Ikeme could miss the rest of the season after punching a tactics board at half-time in Saturday's crucial game against Bristol City.

A TACTICS BOARD???????

The more I think about it the more annoyed I am with Ikeme.
His actions on Saturday were worse than Johnson turning up “unfit to train”.
I can forgive the blunder on the pitch but the stupid dummy spitting, toy throwing hissy fit that has caused him to probably miss the rest of the season deserves a slap.

I think Ikeme's done now. Jerseys Doris's to keep now as I think if Dean's here in the summer Ikeme's gone. Henners who knows he owes us a season after missing this one but will he stay IF we go down?
Tatts I agree with ya. RJ was a twát last season but he seems to have knuckled down this year.

knuckled down
Poor choice of expression there Tino.
A TACTICS BOARD???????
What a load of carp. No evidence whatsoever of tactics in the first half. Now if he had busted the tactic's board prior to the game; I could have believed this!

We definitely have a tactics board. Whether anyone has written anything on it other than obscenities, drawings of coqs and sandwich orders for the last year or not is a different matter altogether.

The boss has now offered a fuller explanation of the incident which has seen Ikeme undergo an operation and probably be on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
“After the game I didn’t know he had broken his hand,” said the boss.
“I have tried to protect Carl and the club and keep everything that went on in the dressing room within the dressing room.
“I am forever ‘rollocking’ the players and what is said in the dressing room doesn’t normally come out of there.
“I just tried to protect Carl after the game because with the situation we were in it wasn’t something I wanted to talk about.
“I didn’t know the full extent and at half time was more concerned with getting the players back out on the pitch and getting Dorus (De Vries) out there.
“I wanted to protect Carl and protect what goes on inside the dressing room but now it has all come out I have a responsibility to let the supporters know why he’s not available to play.
“Carl was frustrated at making his mistake and has punched the tactics board which is only cardboard but there is a metal bar at the back of it which has damaged his hand.
“He has not meant to break his hand – Kevin Doyle kicked the corner flag after scoring his goal and he could have ended up breaking his foot!
“Now we’ve got a problem because he is not going to be available for us which I am really disappointed with.

I have to say I find this story to be truly astonishing - Wolves have a tactics board?

I think Wolves are probably top of the league for punching things. Terry Butcher's Inverness are trying to emulate us up here, but I can't see them coming close.
Great pic of Terry looking sheepish after the damage was done, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21808640
