lets say say they want one hundred million trillion. I think that if Messi stays at Barca for the rest of his career he will not be as highly rated as if he went to different leagues to prove his mettle. Like Zidane, Ronaldo (Brazil) who played in Italy when they had the best league and both won the the World Cup for their teams and Ronaldo (Potrugal) who has also played in the PL and doinated when the PL was at its best.
