Manchester United midfielder Nani has been suspended by Uefa for one match.
The Portuguese was sent off during the club's 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie earlier this month.

Nani & SAF Charges

Not sure if a wind up, but when people say Nani s was a sending off I dont think people realise how stupid their being, if refs start giving out reds for this, football will become non contact, it might be Man utd this week but could be your team next, its about the whole picture.

It's pretty clear, was it 'excessively' dangerous, which is what constitutes a red? No, it was not, there was no force behind Nani's movement to control a ball therefor I can't personally see how it could be considered excessively dangerous. Dangerous, possibly, excessively so, not at all, football is a contact sport for christ's sake!

Its absolutely fking ridiculous are my thoughts.
If nani is getting suspended then those <surfers> unts in the Arsenal and Munich game and Porto and Malaga games should be punished in a similar way.

opposition tactic with that ref in charge, just try to get your body in the way of player trying to control ball and get red card.

Think SAF is lucky if thats all he got, I like SAF but to many times this season he has got away with having a dig when things don't go Utd s way...Nani was a sending off harsh but it was.

It sounds like you don't even know what SAF was charged with so it speaks volumes that you think he should have been more harshly punished in spite of this.
Clubs have been fined less than 8.5k for failing to control racist fans so I don't see how you can say that Fergie was let off lightly. Especially considering nobody even knows what he was allegedly guilty of in the first place!!
