I havent seen too many people on here that are happy with the way Ally and his so called coaching team have done this season and nobody seems to think that long term they should be in charge of the team.
Ally imo has had his chance and the buzz there was about the club early season has now gone due to the inept performances from the players and lack of tactical awareness from the coaches.
I have seen numerous names banded about on here to replace Ally but imo we only need to look a division above us for a credible alternative.
Allan Johnston has done a cracking job at Queen of The South assisted by Sandy Clark.
Two ex Rangers players who have assembled a squad on a shoestring which is playing decent football and romping Div 2.
One defeat in 29 league games, knocked Hibs out of the communities cup and knocked us out of the Ramsdens on route to the final.
A win v Brechin tonight would see them crowned champions before the end of March which is a fantastic achievment.
If we are looking for a managment team to get us through the leagues we should look at these guys.
Even better if Sandy brings his son Nicky with him as he has bagged 31 goals already this season.
Well done guys
Hope you are at Ibrox next season

pat if all of what you say was under normal circumstances you would have me on side, but its completely unfair to judge him in this way
his no 1 task this season? win the league, he has done that

The winning of the league was a given from the start. We could've won the league without a manager IMO.
I actually think he'll go at the end of the season and Butcher will be in.

patrick football doesnt work that way, just put players on the park, anyone can pick the team
look at man city and chelsea, the money they have spent between them, cant win the league though

Both have though
But it's hardly comparable - yes, they both spent more than the other teams in the league but we pay more in wages to one of our players than the other teams pay to their whole fookin squad!
And yet when we play them, most of the time, we hardly look any better.

I wasn't disappointed when he signed Black, Sheils and Sandaza, however, they have been a huge disappointment.
The players must share some of the blame with Ally.
The boys are just that, boys who are learning their trade. Some will make it, most won't but they won't get a better chance to shine than this and I would like to think that I would have bust a gut at every opportunity and that would include doing what Beckham, Rooney and Giggs did when they were that age, coming back into training in the afternoons to hone your skills.

Emm, wouldn't mind him, but he wouldn't be my first choice when the time comes to get rid of McCoist. We should be looking to bring in someone who has a bit more experience, rather than just bring someone in because they have a connection with Rangers.
I don't see this happening for a while though, I reckon he has a job for the forseeable future. It'd take something drastic, like being 5th in the table after Christmas for Green to sack him.
