St Ledger loaned to Millwall!

After tomorrows game until may 4th.

Has Pearson finally lost the plot??

before you ask....it's on our official website!

Trish - "Morgan and keane have a solid partnership". Settled partnership perhaps, but I would not call the second goal Derby scored as being the result of anything but atrocious defending - it looked bad at the ground, even worse on the TV replay.

Shilly - you have to be kidding. Danns is a different player to King to be sure, but better? Don't think so. King is being asked to perform a much more defensive role than previous which has had an obvious impact on his scoring.

PS to the original question, probably not. With SSL fit he'd want to play, possibly starting to threaten to throw his toys out of the pram again? So he gets some games at Millwall to get match fit if needed (assuming 24 hour recall) and a potential disruptive element is removed from the squad at a critical period of the season? With Whitbread fit we have cover. Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair, perhaps not.

Shilly - most people who know anything about the game would know that King is more intelligent and technically better than Danns could ever wish to be. He also reads the game very well.

You do know running around a lot doesn't make you a good player?

As for SSL - he's ok. I am a little surprised by this decision as I'd rather have him as back up than Whitbread but I'm never devastated when an average player (like Danns) goes out on loan. Gets match fitness and we get him back if needed.

Can't help but feel he'll be gone in the summer though. He wants first team football, and I do t personally think he's quite good enough to get it in a team with promotion aspirations.

I obviously also have no sort of knowledge of the game either, I don't particularly rate Danns while I find King to be far more cultured. Running around a lot and either fouling people or constantly getting caught out of position does not make a top footballer.

Andy king has proved me wrong on a number of occasions coming back to his old self.
As for SSL write him off at your peril you football know it all's.
What happens after the end of the season when our loan players go home to their clubs?

Although like Danns beckford and the others this will be about reducing our wag bill as much of getting rid of the bad apples and that might include SSL to.

Take a look at Millwall's remaining fixtures, if SSL can help Millwall take points off of Watford, Forest and Palace it could work out even better than having him sit on our bench?

Ipswich
Birmingham
Sheff Wed
Wigan FA Cup
Watford
Huddersfield
Blackburn
Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace
Derby

I really don't get this argument about sending him away for match fitness. Team spirit and togetherness are vital as is continuity so I simply can't understand how a month in exile is going to make him ready to put everything on the line for us?

It's mentioned above that maybe he's unhappy about being out of the side but that's where the manager earns his corn. He's our best cover at CB and only cover at RB so we needed to manage that and keep him here!

If every time a player is unhappy the manager sends him into exile we'll continue to struggle with a threadbare squad.

Big result and performance needed tonight to keep people behind the manager.

In Pearson I still trust, but he's going to need wins to take the focus away from some odd decisions.

Come on City, just bloomin' win!

"Morgan and keane have a solid partnership so he wouldn't get to play "

I know you could hardly be expected to see it coming, mate, but I think you spoke about 24 hours too soon there.

Given tonight's sending off this now looks like a very poor decision by NP

Surely we won't let him go now? If we do, I guess we can conclude something other than football has caused the decision...
