There Are Times When You Hate Football!

First of all, congratulations to Liverpool, you guys deserved to win for me, you just about managed to win it comfortably, but these games are not good for the heart.

The crucial moment in the match for me was Gerrard's headed clearance off the line. We like Liverpool, had our clear cut chances, but just couldn't seem to put them away. It pissses me the fack off when that happens.

We just didn't seem to have the buzz about us in the second half, the goal straight after the half killed that off. And, I'm sure I was not the only one who went berserk for 10 seconds when Benteke netted right at the end. Good grief that annoyed me.

As the games go by what becomes more obvious is that the game v Wigan at the DW at the end of the season is a simple one. Win and you stay up. That could end up being one of the biggest and most crucial games of the PL era. Imagine the amount of money riding on that game alone. Could we quite possibly see a Man City, but a relegation version?

To be fair Chronic, if he makes a clean challenge we applaud him... Our defence are always throwing themselves at players and the ball, no matter wherever they are... Those moments have come throughout the season and may come to hurt us come the end of the season.

I just think if we played the way we did today, we'll beat the teams around us, i.e. Sunderland. When we lost to Arsenal and City, Lambert came out and said we just need to continue to play like we are...and we did so and beat Reading and QPR.

We've got Stoke away, Fulham at home and United away next... Pretty tricky.

how are spurs relevent to this debate?

do you disagree with the statement 'you can beat fulham at home"?

if you do then you have no place being in the prem....

every side in the prem would look at fulham at home and think they have a chance of winning

Funny when we do it we are called bitter.

Sorry but united fans are proper bitter, just because your successful doesn't mean your not bitter.

Some united fans a proper bitter an twisted.
.................................

Errm... that is completely unprovoked and does come across as a little bitter.

I guess you have missed various topics this year celebrating your bad results (when we don't match it)

We'll beat Fulham at home. Guaranteed. We'll beat Sunderland at home. Guaranteed. We'll beat Norwich away. Guaranteed. Stoke's a possible win, a possible loss, but probably a draw. Wigan I wouldn't bet on, but I think that by the time we get there we'll be safe.

Today the international break may have had an effect, on momentum as much as anything else. Overall I thought we played OK, lacked a bit of bit at times particularly in the second half.

we have enough winnable games to stay up so not too worried about today.... wish wigan would go down though, really do hate the way they just go on unexplainable back to back to back wins at this stage of the season with that poor team... and not cause they'll probably finish above villa as I believe we can finish above sunderland and maybe the likes of Norwich and be safe

"I was going wild when the goal went in

strange, do you celebrate every goal against us?"

I was going wild when it was disallowed!

Not a vey fair comment about Wigan in my opinion Bumble. Along with doing a decent job avoiding the drop so far with limited finances compared to other PL teams they are also in the semi final of the FA cup. If they get to the final they are in Europe.
