Extremely short article, because I want the content to come from all the United fans on here.
I think that Nick Powell is going to be an absolutely enormous player for us in the next decade. I can see him breaking in to the team either next season or the one after, but playing regularly beyond that and having a Scholes/Giggs like career. He is an absolute dream of a player, and when you think about just how impressive winning league 2 player of the year is as a 17/18 year old boy, surrounded by true hatchet men and scoring goals of the caliber he did and influencing the way Crew played like he did. I honestly think it's a more impressive feat relatively than RVP or Kagawa's player of the year awards in England and Germany respectively. We've got a monstrous team of young talent bubbling along with him, Zaha, the Keane twins, Jones, Cleverley, Welbeck and co.
What do you think?
Nick Powell

Xavi became the player he was at 29/30.

Couldn't be more wrong. Xavi has been a phenomenal player since he broke though. It's just the Barca team wasn't quite as good as it is with Messi in it.
I remember Xavi playing at OT when he was about 20 or so and he was amazing.

Watched Powell play when Utd came to Aberdeen at the start of the season and I kept asking myself who the feck is that kid. He's a beast of a player.
He's an all action midfielder, very similar game to Stevie Me and isn't a shrinking violet.
Another player who has impressed me with his ability on the ball is Adnan Janujaz. A very gifted football player.

ManUtdDareDevil you're hyping him up to the point where if he is really as good as you are making him out, he'd have featured in more games this season.
He's done ok for his age when he's played this season, but he has a lot to learn still

Adnan looks seriously talented doesn't he mate
I think we have some cracking players in the ranks and we will probably know next season where we're at with them all
I hear there may be a bit of a clear out this Summer in the youth squads

Shoot me now, but I haven't been they impressed going on what I've seen. His touch, control and short passing doesn't look particularly refined in comparison to guys the same age. Wilshere, for example, looked a class act technically from the start.
He will obviously be a good player as he is clearly quite talented, but I haven't seen anything 'special' yet. I know it hasn't worked out, but remember how good Anderson looked at 19? Powell is a year younger but I still the innate talent yet. We'll wait and see.

Scholes broke in to our team at 22.
Why lie? He was 21
Xavi became the player he was at 29/30.

Absolute dog crap comment.
Breaking through early means sweet fa.

The best players generally do break through early.

This boy Powell will be quality. You can just tell he's going to be good, the best players have something about them from an early stage that you can pick them apart from the average players. No disrespect to Cleverley I dont see anything in him and have never done to suggest he will be a top player, but Powell will be quality.

He looks good but in the times he's featured for the first team you can see he is still yet to get to grips with the change of pace for his Crewe days. Gets caught on the ball a bit but give him a season or so to adjust to the speed at this level and he looks a real prospect. Great eye for goal.
