A great leap forward

A report in this weeks Irish Post says that Rangers have made an approach to sign Dundee United striker Jon Daly.
Daly is a Republic of Ireland Catholic - Rangers have uniquely never before ( to the best of my knowledge ) signed a Republic Catholic.

Congratulations to Daly and Rangers.
