Southampton, - Starting Line-up?

so going into saeson with just 2 fit forwards, hope the defense toughens up or it could be a hard start to season except bradford game.

Why's Beckford not in the line up?

Harrow, a week ago you could have had a team without strikers and goalie!

Didn't we play without defenders last season?

Technically their position was listed as defenders but in reality I think they were ballboys.

If we dont sign any new players then my team would be:

Hope we do sign some new players though as i dont think that starting line up is good enough...

Quite like the look of the line up. Would probably have Paynter instead of McC., But 2 up front & a 4 man midfield is positive. Unfortunately, I think SG will have Clayton in a 5 man midfield with Howson pushing on. But time will tell

Waccoe I agree with you apart from maybe Parker. Playing with the OP's lineup leaves our defence far too exposed.
