I know we are still in a wonderful position and shouldn't really be thinking we will lose it "again" but the players are worried about this, Valencia has said this himself.
If we lost to Stoke i'm sure the lead will be down to 9, then we've got Chelsea and Arsenal to play these are both games we could easily have another couple of defeats. West Ham away is another one i don't fancy either.
I realise this is all "what if's" but lets be honest not a single man in the world would have bet against Utd last season with 8 point lead and 7 to play.
I'm very worried about just how bad we are playing, we are not creating much, not scoring, the strikers are getting no service and we struggle to retain the ball. And don't get me started on our wingers, they've all be completely embarrassing the whole season.
Our only in form offensive player is OG.
Are our players burnt out or is it really all down to the CL exit ?
The Stoke game is now massive

Perhaps our saving frace is that we are playing badly, Stoke are playing even worse

Yeah but Stoke's crowd are brilliant and what better way for the Stoke players to cheer them up then upping their game and beating United
We need to hit them hard early a score a couple so the crowd get on their own team's back

That tall kid that plays in defence for the reserves can do a job on the wing.

I know who you mean but forget his name for the minute
A few weaks ago I thought he was gonna whack a linesman. He's perfect for Stoke

sorry, but anyone playing for a club like utd should not be worried about losing a 12 point lead with only 7 games left.
thats shows a serious lack of mental strength, and not the kind of mentality you should have if playing for a big club.

United will win the title.
No doubt about it.
There is absolutely no way they will blow this lead.

The whole team knows what is required to get the job done and I sense that the team has gotten complacent too soon as well as other factors such as tiredness which also affects concentration.
-------------------------
The players that are playing the best are the players who have played the most games
Tiredness is not a factor whatsoever.

oh bless your heart. The rotation meant to keep the team fresh yet the players actually playing well are ones who should be the least fresh.

Every game is massive until the PL is ours....then boast and brag, and do yer la di dahs.....yes of course it will happen, but hold on just a game or two more before starting the hype.

Drop points at Stoke and suddenly City look favourites again. Win at Stoke and imo it's over

Think of it this way...United should take at least seven points from nine from the three remaining home games (Villa, Swansea and Chelsea).
That would mean they only need three points from the four remaining away games (Stoke, West Brom, West Ham and Arsenal)....and that's assuming City win all their remaining games (including winning at Spurs who now have a 10 day break before that game).
If United were to blow this lead it would be time for Fergie to depart....he couldn't recover if his team were to blow big leads two years running in the final weeks of the season.

I actually agree with that comment.
