Morning,
Can someone please tell me if Bale has a release clause in his contract. Saw a very brief heading from Sky Sports saying Madrid will activate it this summer if we fail to qualify for Champions League.
I thought due to UK laws we were not allowed to put release clauses within our contracts?!

Put a clause in saying he can leave for 50 mill IF we qualify for champs league. Better for the club. That way we are not rewarding failure

To our knowledge, no Spurs player of recent times has had such a clause. It is superceded by the Levy tax.
