Theres rumours in Marca in Spain that United are interested in Falcao and have already made the first payment for him. Also rumours of Rooney going to Barca.
Now i know its probably all paper talk but if this were to happen can anyone see anything but United running away with the league again?
Also we do need a striker so if its not going to be Falcao who would people like? I think Lewnadowski would be a very good fit.

Anyway back to the OP:
i very much doubt that a "deposit" has been put down as transfers don't work like that.
Anyhow, if it were true and they have already payed some of the fee then a contract would have to have been agreed with the player and they would be able to officially announce it

Bigger news is that Mourinho has just confimed he wont be at Real Madrid next season. Have you got him back at Chelsea?

No one seems to know but Jose, most of the recent gossip is that Roman is trying to attract Pelligrini instead

United with a new midfielder and a winger + a better Kagawa, who will surely improve, will scare me more than this. Sure, they'll have Falcao and RVP up top. But it's not as if you put the best strikers in the world up top and that's your team sorted.
