Reading 'the boys from the black country' and the below quite resonated and needs to be remembered by all at our club
May 2010 Mick McCarthy
"I'll be gone sometime, somewhere
The players will be gone sometime somewhere
The fans will always be here, it's their club, it's not mine,
and it belongs to them"
It doesn't always feel that way though, but at least we aren't changing playing colours or club name.
Wise words worth remembering

Steve - It is being widely reported that the highest paid Director in the West Midlands over the last year is Jez Moxey (£1.1m despite relegation).
Why?

Herbert, it's easy to forget Jez Moxey is CEO of a very successful and well-run business - the £1.1m reflects his position in charge of a massive Premier League club where he's done a really top, top, superb job over the years. Next year's club accounts for the current Championship season will show Jez's salary down to a mere £500,000 per annum, or £22,000 for every home game you play in those lower leagues.
At £25 a game (£20 after deducting VAT) that's only 1,100 paying spectators needed to keep Jez and his family in the style they've been accustomed to. You surely won't begrudge him that, not for being the CEO of such a massive football club.

Yeah, thanks Deja. So make that £24 a game.
It's still 1,100 hardy souls handing over their cash to fund a lavish lifestyle for Jez's failure.
